A-ICV

The Autonomous Inflow Control Valve (A-ICV) represents a significant advancement in well completion technology, offering precise control over fluid inflow by autonomously choking fluid phases based on their viscosity and, to a degree, density. This self-regulating valve adjusts its flow paths to preferentially allow oil while restricting unwanted fluids like water and gas, effectively optimizing production. By responding dynamically to changing reservoir conditions, the A-ICV minimizes the impact of water and gas breakthrough, ensuring more uniform drainage and improved recovery.

Its ability to account for both viscosity and density variations provides operators with a versatile and efficient tool for managing inflow in complex reservoirs, reducing the need for external interventions or power systems. This makes the A-ICV a valuable solution for enhancing well performance and extending operational lifespan.
